From May 7th until May 11th we will be organising the 43rd StuTS in the city of Amsterdam. StuTS is a linguistic conference organised by and for students. All students interested in linguistics are invited to visit the conference and are offered the opportunity to lecture on any particular field of linguistic study. Since 1987 this biennial conference has been organised by students from universities in the German language area. This year, however, StuTS will be organised by Dutch students from the University of Amsterdam. |

This conference represents the perfect opportunity for students to present their master thesis or bachelor essay or to discuss an area of linguistics they are particularly interested in. In an informal setting the student will be able practice his or her presentation skills and discuss the subject matter with peers from different international universities. Of course there will also be time for a tour of our beautiful city and the chance to socialise with other (international) students. |

It would also be a perfect opportunity for a schooltrip. All in all, it will offer a chance for different aspiring linguists to get to know one and other and discuss different linguistic topics. |
